5 famous drinks, with a non-alcoholic twist

It’s been a while since I posted a recipe, so here we go! :)

Featured drinks:

• No-jito

• Cos-no-politan

• Sans-gria

• Piña Con Nada

• Bellino

I don’t drink and I haven’t for many years. Not because I think nobody should ever drink (Jesus literally turned water into wine), but just because I personally choose not to.

My reasons are kind of a mix — part health & part personal conviction. Back in the day, I used to travel a lot and my “thing” was to sample the local beer in every new country I visited. I wouldn’t get drunk, I’d literally just have a beer (or even half a beer) with dinner one night while on my trip, to compare the flavors of beer from around the globe (yes, I enjoyed the taste of beer). Over the years though, I outgrew that tradition for various reasons and being alcohol free feels right for me now.

But I still love fun, creative drinks. I love complex flavors, pretty glasses, fresh ingredients… all the things that make a drink feel special. So mocktails have become my way of enjoying all of that without the alcohol. They’re still delicious and sophisticated and honestly, just a fun way to spoil your guests.

Here are five of my favorites, featuring Seedlip non alcoholic spirits, in case you want to try them too! No, this is not a sponsored post (I wish it was though! lol), I just really like this brand and want to share it with you. :)

1. Mojito → No-jito 🍃

  • 8–10 mint leaves

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz simple syrup

  • 2 oz Seedlip Notas de Agave

  • Club soda to top

  • Ice

Muddle mint, simple syrup, and lime. Add Seedlip Notas de Agave and ice, top with club soda — bright, refreshing, and botanical.

2. Cosmopolitan → Cos-no-politan 🍸

  • 1 ½ oz Seedlip Grove 42

  • ½ oz non-alcoholic orange liqueur

  • 1 oz cranberry juice

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

Shake with ice → strain → lime garnish.

The citrus forward profile from Seedlip Grove 42 makes this mocktail feel bright and familiar.

3. Sangria → Sans-gria 🍇

  • 1 bottle non-alcoholic red wine

  • 2 oz Seedlip Spice 94

  • 2 oz Seedlip Grove 42

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • Sliced orange, lemon, and apple

Combine and chill for 2–24 hours so the botanicals and fruit meld — a more layered, deep fruity drink that still feels grown-up.

4. Piña Colada → Piña Con Nada 🍍

  • 2 oz Seedlip Notas de Agave

  • 2 oz coconut cream

  • 4 oz pineapple juice

Blend with ice → pineapple garnish.

The agave and lime notes play wonderfully with tropical cream and pineapple.

5. Bellini → Bellino 🍑

  • 2 oz white peach purée

  • 1 oz Seedlip Grove 42

  • 3 oz sparkling white grape juice

Stir gently in a flute. The citrus from Grove 42 pairs beautifully with sweet peach and bubbles — elegant and refreshing.

Notes on Using Seedlip:

Seedlip spirits are distilled non-alcoholic spirits made from botanicals, herbs, and spices, designed to give complex flavor without sugar or alcohol — perfect for mocktail crafting.

  • Grove 42 → citrus and spice (great for Cosmopolitan, Bellini, brighter drinks)

  • Spice 94 → warm, aromatic (adds depth to sangria)

  • Garden 108 → herbal (excellent in herbaceous cocktails)

  • Notas de Agave → lime/agave (perfect for tequila-style or tropical drinks)

Enjoy!!! I’d love to hear what you think if you try these! 😃
