Apps to Encourage your Walk with God

I wanted to put this post together because I’ve seen how much many people genuinely want to spend more time with God, but also how challenging that can be in everyday life.
Over time, I’ve compiled lists of apps within different Christian traditions, including Protestant, Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Messianic Jewish. The purpose of this post is to help encourage more time in God’s Word, prayer, and study.
I’ve found that apps make Scripture and prayer easier to access for a lot of people. Sometimes the layout and audio options alone make it feel more doable and easier to navigate.
There is also a level of convenience that really matters. For some people, convenience is the deciding factor in whether they spend time with God that day or not. I know this because I’ve had conversations with people who have shared that with me directly. They want to grow in their faith, but they feel too busy to sit down and open a Bible or a book. Listening through an app is sometimes the only way they’re able to engage.
My hope is that this list helps remove some of those barriers and gives you practical tools to spend more time with God in ways that fit into real life.
