Koinōnia

Fellowship is more than simply spending time together. In a biblical and Christian sense, it comes from the Greek word koinōnia, which means sharing, participation, and deep mutual belonging.

Fellowship is about a shared life. It is people united in Christ who share faith, purpose, burdens, joys, and responsibility for one another. It involves presence, honesty, and care, not just conversation or proximity.

In Scripture, fellowship includes:

• Sharing in Christ Himself and His sufferings

• Sharing material needs and resources

• Encouraging one another in faith and obedience
